Meet the team

Lee Torrie - Co-Founder and Technical Director

Born into the world of motorsport, Lee’s first memories are of going to work with his dad Bob at Williams F1 team at the weekends. Lee started his full time career with Benneton as an apprentice in the R&D department. During 1995 the team won the F1 driver and constructors championships with Michael Schumacher. In 2003 the team was bought by Renault and they went on to win a further two F1 championships with Fernando Alonso.

In 2006 Lee setup a karting team and engine building business, winning three karting championships, he also started racing and was on a winning streak, taking five karting championships. During the next ten years team members all won championships. Lee continues racing and in 2017 came third overall in Class C of the Excool OSS championships.

Adrian Williams - Co-founder & Managing Director

Adrian was a latecomer to Motorsport, and entered the Karting scene at the ripe age of 40. Most likely a mid life crisis.. Racing under Lee’s team, Adrian developed a real passion for racing and competed at national level securing 2 championships over 5 years.

Since setting up the business with Lee, Adrian focusses much more time helping to build the business and plans to compete, along side Lee in the 2018 Excool Championship
